Pizza, Ice Cream and The Mall

Not necessarily in that order. I was still feeling snarfy, stuffy and cruddy today. Nothing tastes good to me, heck things hardly taste at all to me. Jason had mercy on me and when he got home from off-duty we loaded up and headed out to eat. We went to a local pizza place at the mall close to us. They have the GREATEST salad ever there! I love, love, love it! Of course that's what I had. All four of the girls were on their best behavior, which is always a bonus!

Our mall is nearly deserted. It went down hill after an open air type upscale shopping center opened up on the other side of the northland here. There's only a few stores left. We decided it would be PERFECT to let the girls burn off some energy. They have a concourse area with fountains and cute little "hot air" balloons that go up and down so the girls were in heaven! They went up and down the little stairs, chased each other, rolled around (mommy tried to discourage that!) and even played with another little girl who was TOTALLY fascinated with them. Morgan is going to be our sweaty child I think. She was working up some beads of perspiration with the work out! They had an absolute blast and it was a good thing to do!

On the way home Jason wanted to rent a movie or two (of course things I have ZERO DESIRE TO SEE!) so we swung by McDonald's to hit the local RedBox. An ice cream cone sounded yummy so we got one of those while we were there. Kori had her own and I shared mine with the girls. It was their first actual "cone" but they've had ice cream plenty. Morgan was not crazy about the cone while Alexis and Kamryn just wanted whatever, it didn't matter to them.

Tomorrow it's going to be cold and rainy with a chance of some snow showers. Oh joy! It is spring right? This weather is really frosting me! :-) I am hoping the weather people are right and next week will be much better. I don't have much faith in them as they could be standing in the middle of a blizzard and still totally miss the forecast. Keeping my fingers crossed they are right about next week.

Have a super weekend!
