Moved

Kori informed me yesterday when we got in the car after school that she is now in a new seat at school. She said her and "S" (a little girl in her class) switched places. I asked her why and she said "Because Ms. Phillips told us too Mom". Oh yes, right, right sorry for my ignorance.

She then informs me in a not so happy voice, "Now I sit next to "B" (a boy) which is NOT okay with me".

Here is the rest of our conversation:

Me: Why?
Kori: BECAUSE!!!

Me: Uh, because why?
K: His teeth stink.

Me: Uh, hmmmm...
K: Come on mom, when he yawns his breath is DISGUSTING! His parents do NOT do a good job checking to make sure he's brushing good. When he yawns, I gag, literally.

Me: Oh, yuck.
K: Can I get a word yes! (Thanks for that phrase Aunt Becky).

So now my daughter is sad that she has to sit next to the boy with "stinky teeth". Oh to be 6 and have those predicaments.
